The Aging Traveller – guilty as charged in a vanishing world

This fron)spiece at right is by Claud Duflos le père, 1725, a?er J. Desmarets from, I think, the 1st edi)on of Le Grand Dictionaire Historique, and it shows the seated personifica)on of History reading from my blog, as Time (standing) points to my unfolding life on the front of the socle out of which rise two columns adorned with
cameos of wonderful people, such as Moll Cutpurse, Herodotus, the Delphic Oracle etc. & other assorted allegories, all of which proclaim The Aging Traveller as a 21st Century work inspired by Le Grand Dictionaire as much as the 17th Century author & French priest Louis Moréri was inspired by Herodotus et al.
